“Emotional Regulation, Creativity & Inclusion in a VUCA Classroom” is an innovative Erasmus+ emotional regulation course for teachers designed to help educators respond to the challenges of modern education. The course focuses on practical strategies that support emotional wellbeing, inclusion, creativity, resilience, and student engagement in today’s rapidly changing world.
Modern classrooms are increasingly shaped by VUCA conditions — volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. Therefore, teachers need new approaches that go beyond traditional teaching methods. This course combines mindfulness, trauma-informed education, expressive arts, movement, embodiment practices, and inclusive methodologies to help educators create safe and supportive learning environments.
Today’s students face overstimulation, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, social pressures, and uncertainty. At the same time, teachers often experience stress, overload, and burnout. As a result, emotional regulation and wellbeing have become essential competences in education.
This teacher wellbeing and inclusion course helps participants:
- develop emotional resilience and stress regulation strategies
- improve attention, focus, and emotional awareness
- foster inclusion, belonging, and participation in schools
- strengthen empathy, collaboration, and communication skills
- support creativity and problem-solving in the classroom
