The Don’t be a bore! Creativity with mindfulness in a classroom course integrates principles of creativity and mindfulness to enhance the classroom experience. Designed for educators of all levels, the course explores strategies for fostering a creative and mindful learning environment. Participants learn practical techniques to inspire creativity among students while incorporating mindfulness practices to improve focus, resilience, and overall well-being. Through a combination of interactive exercises both indoors and outdoors, educators gain valuable tools to create a harmonious balance between fostering creativity and promoting mindfulness within the classroom setting, ultimately contributing to a more enriched and positive learning atmosphere.

Learning objectives

All the proposed activities can be adapted to the age and needs of the students. The participants will be required to fill in a Needs Analysis before the course. The price includes one afternoon cultural activity.

Methodology
The methodology of the Erasmus+ course on Creativity and Mindfulness is designed to be highly interactive, experiential, and reflective, ensuring that participants not only learn the theoretical foundations but also actively practice and implement creative and mindful strategies. The course will employ a combination of indoor and outdoor activities, leveraging the natural surroundings of the course location, to enhance learning experiences.
We will use
Inverted Classroom Strategy, Workshops and Collaborative Learning, Reflective Practice, Learning by Doing, Outdoor and Experiential Learning, Theory to Practice: Minimal theoretical input balanced with practical application
Assessment
Reflective Journals, Practical Demonstrations, Self and Peer Assessment.
Participation and Engagement: Active participation in all activities, discussions, and workshops will be a key component of assessment. Instructors will observe and provide feedback on engagement levels and contributions.
By focusing on these diverse and dynamic assessment methods, the course aims to ensure that participants leave with a deep, practical understanding of how to integrate creativity and mindfulness into their educational practices, ultimately benefiting their students and themselves.
Costs
The 560 EUR fee covers the course tuition, issuing the required Erasmus+ documents, coffee breaks, and a guided tour.
We offer an optional cultural programme in order to provide you with opportunities to explore the wonders of the area. All the details including the destinations and the prices will be sent to the participants two months before the course starts.
