“AI for Educators” is a practical and forward-thinking Erasmus+ AI course for teachers designed to help educators understand and effectively use artificial intelligence in education.

As AI becomes an essential part of modern education, teachers need the skills to use digital tools responsibly, creatively, and ethically. This course provides hands-on experience with AI tools while exploring their impact on teaching, learning, and student development.

Learning Objectives

This Erasmus+ AI course for teachers is designed to develop practical skills in using artificial intelligence in education and modern digital tools.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Understand AI in Education

  • understand the fundamentals of AI in education
  • critically evaluate AI tools and their role as teaching assistants
  • select the most effective AI tools for specific tasks (e.g. research, content creation)

Use AI to Increase Efficiency

  • automate up to 80% of administrative and communication tasks
  • generate structured documents, reports, and teaching materials
  • save time using AI tools for teachers

Create Teaching Materials with AI

  • design complete lesson plans using AI
  • generate engaging worksheets and interactive learning content
  • create differentiated materials for mixed-ability classrooms and SEN students

Develop Digital Content

  • create professional educational graphics, presentations, and videos using Canva AI
  • enhance visual communication in teaching
  • apply digital competences in education

Improve Assessment and Feedback

  • generate clear and objective assessment criteria
  • create personalised and constructive feedback for students

Pre-Course Activities

To maximise the learning experience in this Erasmus+ AI training for teachers, participants are encouraged to:

  • Create free accounts for Google Gemini, OpenAI (ChatGPT), and Canva.
  • Reflect on current administrative “pain points” and repetitive tasks.
  • Bring a laptop to the training sessions.

Methodology

The course follows a practical, experiential, and project-based approach, aligned with Erasmus+ principles.
Teaching methods iclude:

  • workshops and collaborative learning
  • learning by doing with real AI tools
  • project-based learning and real classroom applications
  • reflective practice and peer exchange
  • applying theory directly to teaching practice

Costs

The 560 EUR fee covers the course tuition, issuing the required Erasmus+ documents, coffee breaks, and a guided tour.
We offer an optional cultural programme in order to provide you with opportunities to explore the wonders of the area. All the details including the destinations and the prices will be sent to the participants two months before the course starts.

Please note:

  • Accommodation, meals, and other transport arrangements are not included and must be organized by participants or their institutionsovers the course tuition, issuing the required Erasmus+ documents, coffee breaks, and a guided tour.
  • Transport to activity sites is subject to an additional fee.
  • Group meals are optional and paid separately.
