Learning Objectives

  • Understand the importance of critical thinking in education and its role in addressing misinformation and bias,
  • Identify and analyze different types of  misinformation and disinformation,
  • Differentiate between real and fake experts—learning to assess credibility, authority, and expertise in various fields,
  • Develop strategies to teach media literacy—helping students critically evaluate sources, identify bias, and question narratives,
  • Apply creative thinking techniques to encourage curiosity, skepticism, and open-mindedness,
  • Use inquiry-based learning,  problem-based learning and project-based learning techniques to engage students in real-world issues related to misinformation and digital literacy,
  • Engage in active citizenship through critical thinking,
  • Promote open dialogue and respectful discussions in the classroom, equipping students with skills for constructive debate,
  • Encourage interdisciplinary approaches to teaching critical  and creative thinking through  different subjects.

Pre-course activities:

  • Familiarize yourself with the material sent by the trainer.
  • Prepare a short presentation about yourself, your region, your school, and your projects for friendships and networking.
  • Search for typical, traditional snacks of your country.

Metodology

Workshops and Collaborative Learning, Reflective Practice, Learning by Doing, Outdoor and Experiential Learning,  Project Based Learning, Problem Based Learning, Theory to Practice: Minimal theoretical input balanced with practical application.

Costs

The 560 EUR fee covers the course tuition, issuing the required Erasmus+ documents, coffee breaks, and a guided tour.
We offer an optional cultural programme in order to provide you with opportunities to explore the wonders of the area. All the details including the destinations and the prices will be sent to the participants two months before the course starts.
