Daria Osmenda-Łukaszek

Experienced educator and trainer with over 20 years of practice in teaching and supporting learners with diverse educational needs. She works as a certified teacher at a Special Primary School in Ruda Śląska, Poland, where she teaches subjects such as Technology, Science and English, as well as providing speech therapy and developmental support for children with special needs.

Her professional path combines teaching, academic lecturing, and international project coordination. She has delivered postgraduate courses in art therapy, early support, special education, and speech therapy for universities and teacher training institutions. As a coordinator of EU-funded projects, she has successfully organized international study visits and training opportunities for educators, guiding groups of teachers and students abroad.

Daria holds a master’s degree in Special Pedagogy and multiple postgraduate qualifications, including Autism Education, Speech Therapy, Early Childhood Education, Teaching English in Preschool and Primary School, and Technical and Science Education. She is also a certified logopedist and project manager, with a strong background in innovative pedagogical methods.

She is the author of numerous pedagogical innovations and educational projects dedicated to children with special needs. In her current work, she integrates elements of mindfulness, forest bathing (shinrin-yoku), art therapy, and nature-based learning into her teaching practice, fostering both emotional balance and cognitive growth. Passionate about special education, she believes that every child deserves the support of a specialist who understands their individual needs and can provide comprehensive guidance. Working in a special school with children facing diverse deficits and disabilities, she emphasizes that this model proves effective in the Polish educational system, ensuring that students receive multidimensional support and genuine opportunities to thrive.
