Associate professor at the University of Silesia in Katowice. Her research interests focus on literature, comparative studies and education. Experienced teacher of Polish language and culture. Author of many research publications as well as didactic materials. Actively involved in different training activities addressed to teachers both in Poland and abroad (Canada, USA, Brazil).
Participant and coordinator of various international didactic projects aiming at developing new teaching materials and enhancing the quality of education. Believes in peace education and wants to popularize this concept.
