Marta Margiel

Assistant professor and academic teacher at the Faculty of Humanities, the University of Silesia, Ph.D. in humanities.  Author of scientific and popular science publications. Research interests, diversity and equality in the EU, inclusive education, participatory evaluation and others.

Expert in project management and EU funds (20 years of experience). Initiator, author and coordinator of several educational projects, including those of an international, interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral and innovative nature (funded by Erasmus +, EEA, CERV, ESF, Ministry funds, private foundations and other programs). External expert evaluator of projects in grant-giving institutions.

Evaluator of education, social and cultural projects. Non-formal trainer and educator. Activist in the non-governmental sector. Former teacher (primary school level).

Promoter of the idea of an interdisciplinary approach and learning by doing in the formal and non-formal education sector.  Enthusiast of outdoor and civic education.
