SPATIA means SPACE
Each of us moves in different spaces: work, study, self-development, passion.
In 2014, the spaces of several people met and so the AGERE AUDE Foundation for Knowledge and Social Dialogue was born. The Foundation focused on implementing educational projects in cooperation with schools, universities, youth city councils and other NGOs working on education and building civil society. Several years of hard work have resulted in the formation of a close-knit, complementary team. Today, the AGERE AUDE Foundation is a strong, opinion-forming organisation focusing on academic and research activities, as well as the formation of sustainable community relations.
In 2019, the AGERE AUDE team decided to create a new space focused on improving the quality of education in primary and secondary schools. This is how the SPATIA Foundation for the Development of Education was created. The Foundation works to create modern educational tools that meet the challenges of today’s world. It collaborates with teachers in many schools in Poland and Europe.

Inspiration
The inspiration for choosing the name of the foundation – Spatia – was the figure of the eminent, world-famous Polish mathematician Stefan Banach, one of the pioneers of functional analysis. The term „Banach space” is known to scientists all over the world. Stefan Banach was also a co-founder of the Lvov School of Mathematics and a brilliant teacher.
