Course objectives
- Understand the importance of outdoor and adventure-based learning for student engagement.
- Integrate outdoor education into different subject areas effectively.
- Discover how museums, parks, and city streets can become interactive learning spaces.
- Explore strategies to teach ecological responsibility and connect students to their cultural heritage.
- Master the art of embedding outdoor, adventure and urban education into your existing teaching practice
- Implement polysensory learning techniques to create immersive educational experiences that resonate with diverse learning styles,
- Develop skills for engaging in dialogue and understanding cultural differences, strengthening personal cultural identity and promoting inclusivity
- Promote interdisciplinary work through outdoor and experiential learning,
- Increase knowledge of social, linguistic, and cultural issues.
Pre-course activities:
- Familiarize yourself with the material sent by the trainer.
- Prepare a short presentation about yourself, your region, your school, and your projects for friendships and networking.
- Search for typical, traditional snacks of your country.
Metodology
Workshops and Collaborative Learning, Reflective Practice, Learning by Doing, Outdoor and Experiential Learning, Photovoice, Theory to Practice: Minimal theoretical input balanced with practical application.
Costs
The 560 EUR fee covers the course tuition, issuing the required Erasmus+ documents, coffee breaks, and a guided tour.
We offer an optional cultural programme in order to provide you with opportunities to explore the wonders of the area. All the details including the destinations and the prices will be sent to the participants two months before the course starts.
